Welcome to the most PNW-y website you've ever seen. I'm David. Is The Mountain Out is a side quest by Rainier Watch Supply Co., our apparel company out of the Pacific Northwest. My brother Michael and I built the site together a few years back; these days it's mostly me keeping it going. We're fairly obsessed with Mount Tahoma (Rainier) and have been kicking this idea around for years.

It started simply: I tweeted on my way to work whenever The Mountain was out. From that fateful day forward, Rainier Watch was born. The community grew to over 50,000 followers across Twitter and Instagram, and whenever The Mountain comes out, my phone blows up with notifications.

It began to get overwhelming, so we built this site to do the watching for everyone. (It's a good thing.) We couldn't be more excited to share it with you.
